The Hyde Vineyard, Napa Carneros Appellation

Larry Hyde owns and operates a 130-acre estate vineyard in the Napa region of Carneros. This is a great complement to our other end of the Carneros property. The mostly flat vineyard is a mixture of shallow, clay-laced soils, as well as having a few deeper, loamy pockets.

With its cool climate and proximity to San Pablo Bay, this viticultural region experiences a long, moderate growing season that allows Hyde's grapes to mature slowly and evenly. This ideal growing condition produces truly superior grapes for exceptional cool climate Chardonnay and Merlot.

Hyde Vineyard is known for producing enormously complex wines. Hyde Vineyard grapes are sold to more than a dozen world-class wineries that produce brilliant wines, including Paul Hobbs, Kistler, and Ramey.
