Name That Pig Contest!

Pinky Sue Wine

Not to be confused with the whole roast pig that joined us (unwillingly perhaps) for our recent Club BBQ, our contest was aimed at finding an apropos name for Bill’s latest piece of BBQ equipment (shown at left). Yes, it’s a pink pig.
Among the names submitted:

La Rose Coquette
Char Les Crique
Senorita Rosarita
Le Cochon Rose
Pinky
Sue Wine

By popular vote we ended up with a hybrid of Bill’s choice “Pinky” and Elizabeth Bosco’s submission “Sue Wine” (say it fast) for the winning Nom de Pig: Pinky Sue Wine! (Think of a driving Buddy Holly beat: “Pretty, pretty, pretty Pinky Sue” …).

For Ms. Bosco’s creative effort, she will receive a pair of delicious CCV wines (not swines), which are winging their way to CT even as you read this; for Bill’s contribution he will receive nothing since he is the owner of both the Pink Pig and the Charles Creek Winery (conflict of interest, you know).

CHEERS!
