CCV Haiku Contest
Some of you may recall the new Haiku Contest from the last Tecolote Times Newsletter (and some may not). While we had some good submissions we would like to renew the call for entries, so now’s the time to give us your best effort!
Try your hand at the Haiku form with subject matter that pertains (in some way) to wine, food and/or some aspect of Charles Creek Vineyard. Entries will be judged for originality, humor and that little something extra...
A couple of examples:
Some bottles have corks,
Others have a metal cap,
How’s that for a twist?
Or
Visit CCV
See a Corker of a Cow,
And a smiling owl!
Email your Haiku entry to alan@charlescreek.com with “CCV Haiku” in the subject line. The winner will receive a pair of seriously delicious Charles Creek wines.
If you’re having trouble remembering the syllable count, here’s a final hint:
CCV Haiku
Remember: 5-7-5
Now you can try it.... |
